Ausmelt Win Prestigious Awards

Ausmelt Ltd of Victoria, Australia have just been awarded the Victorian Export Award for Innovation Excellence, as well as the 2002 Governor of Victoria Minerals and Energy Export Award.

The awards were presented by the Governor of Victoria, Mr. Paul Landy to Ausmelt Managing Director Mr. Paul Abbott at a ceremony last night.

Ausmelt was founded in 1994 to commercialise technology developed by Dr. John Floyd, while working at Australia’s CSIRO. Since then they have developed a range of products that they have been marketing to the worldwide metals, minerals and waste treatment industries, with a focus on non-ferrous metals smelting.
