CAS DataLoggers Introduces Expanded Measurement Versions of Electrocorder DC Voltage and Current Dataloggers

CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce that our Electrocorder Two-Channel DC Voltage and Current Dataloggers are now available in expanded measurement versions. In addition to our model monitoring DC current at +/-10A or +/-100A, new versions are available with current sensors measuring at +/-30A/300A or at +/-100A/1kA.

Electrocorder

This makes these data logger kits even more flexible. As with all Electrocorder products, the logger kit includes sensors, leads, and software—all at a lower price than you’d expect. Our DC voltage and current loggers are ideal for battery testing and viewing DC output in many renewable energy applications including wind power, testing solar panels, vehicle propulsion, and any electrical equipment monitoring project.

These dataloggers record DC voltage and current on a large memory at fast sample rates and at high accuracy. For one low price these kits give you the logger itself, a DC current probe, fused voltage leads, a USB lead for quick data transfer, a 12Vdc PSU and free software.

The data logger itself features multiple inputs, monitoring 1 or 2 DC voltage channels in a wide range from 1V to 300Vdc, and a DC current channel monitoring at +/-10A/100A, +/-30A/300A or +/-100A/1kA. The logger’s flexibility enables battery testing and viewing current draw on many different kinds of equipment including DC motors, PV cell output, DC chargers, and more.

Users can select the best averaging period to suit their situation, accurate to <1% of range. Once activated, the DC datalogger stores the average DC voltage current over the period chosen (anywhere from 1 second to 60 minutes), and also records the max and min values over that period. The data logger’s memory can store 32,000 true RMS values per channel (10 bit), so users can keep logging for up to 300 days. The kit’s supplied USB cable uploads all stored data to a PC.

Each kit also provides FREE configuration and analysis software to setup the logger and zoom in on the data. Users can view energy/power costs to identify savings areas with power factoring methods. The simple interface allows users to upload data to PC, export data files and generate report-quality graphs. Users can also access the software database across a network to view the logger’s location and set up alarming for late returns and transfer data via email. Users can also draw electrical line diagrams, view print previews/printout reports, and output to PDF, RTF, XLS, HTML, etc.
