CFG+ Compact Digital Force Gauge

The Compact Force Gauge (CFG+) is an entry-level, low-cost digital force gauge. It is an extremely affordable alternative to mechanical gauges and has an accuracy of ±0.5% of full-scale. It is suitable for elementary tension and compression tests ranging from 50 to 500 N.

The device features a straightforward LCD display that presents readings in commonly used measurement units (N, kN, mN, gf, kgf, lbf, and ozf). The values can be viewed as continuously updating 'live' readings or can be frozen on the display to capture and hold the peak value

Manufactured in a lightweight ABS plastic housing, the CFG+ has a simple keypad. It also includes an RS232 output, facilitating effortless data transmission.

This is primarily a hand-held device but, thanks to its design, it can be attached to manual test stands for more controlled testing. To reduce the risk of accidental damage to the instrument by an operator, an overload warning function is standard on all models.

The CFG+ operates on disposable AA batteries and comes with basic accessories for both tension and compression testing. As standard, it comes with a declaration of conformity, and a calibration certificate is available for a small additional fee.

This lightweight, pocket-sized digital alternative to mechanical force gauges is ideal for non-critical applications that require peak measurements.
