Analytical Test Sieves

RSS
Analytical test sieves are capable of separating fine and coarse materials for quality control purposes for a variety of applications within food, powdered metal, chemical and mineral processing industries. Once a representative sample of the material of interest is obtained, washed and/or dried, the sample is then reduced to a size suitable for the analysis procedure. The sample is sieved, either manually or through mechanical processes, which then allows particle movement through a sieve mesh or surface according to their individual sizes. Sample residues within each test sieve are then weighed and measured as individual fractions of the original sample weight, allowing the evaluation of particle distribution, and therefore product quality, to be adequately analyzed.
