Laboratory Furnaces are used in many applications and are designed to function within a range of temperature zones. The specification of the furnace is primariliy determined by the quality or refractoriness of the insulation and the temperature capabilities of the heating elements. Higher temperatures are usually associated with higher costs. Almost all lab furnaces are operated via digital controllers which allow for a wide range of heat up, dwell and hold time and cooling rates. The type of products to be subjected to heating generally determine the geometry of the door/closure mechanism.

StableTemp Muffle Furnaces are available in three sizes and three controller options to meet your application requirements. All models have autotune feature which allows the furnace to perform better at a particular set point and load, eliminating temperature overshoot for a commonly used application. An optional RS-485 communications port 33858-90 is available to let you use these furnaces with your computer.
