Industrial Furnaces and Ovens

Industrial furnaces and ovens take many shapes, sizes and forms and may work in continuous or intermittent modes. They may may be front opening, top loading, horizontal, vertical, elevator hearth or take any number of other configurations. Also, depending on their application and the type of material that they are treating, may operate using different atmospheres from air to nitrogen to vacuum which will be dictated by the desired outcome. Also depending on the temperature required and operating atmosphere, the heat source may from gas burners to electric elements to induction heating, or even other more exotic methods such as microwave heating. Industrial ovens generally operate at lower temperatures to furnaces. Their applications may vary from metal heat treatment, to coatings and surface treatment, through to sintering of ceramics and even curing or rubbers.

In addition to standard designs, Thermcraft also manufacture furnaces custom built to exact specifications. Their team of highly knoweledgeable Sales Engineers will work with you through the entire process of configuring your custom furnace.
Standard and custom designed ovens are available from Thermcraft in either batch or continuous types. Sizes range from bench top to industrial truck ovens in single or double door styles. Ovens may be either electric or gas fired.
Contemporary Kiln automatic cooling ovens have integrated ventilation systems that introduce fresh filtered air into the kiln chamber in order to expedite the cooling process and reduce the process cycle time.
Fibercraft™ low mass vacuum formed ceramic fiber heaters are a heating element and insulation together in one complete unit. These heaters are manufactured using high quality, high purity ceramic fiber with a low sodium inorganic binder. They are offered with maximum operating temperatures of 1100°C (2012°F) or 1200°C (2192°F).
Various insulation types and configurations are available from Thermcraft to meet your specific requirements. Sizes and shapes available are almost endless, from flat boards and flexible blanket, all the way to complex CNC machined insulation shapes.
This versatile series of multi-purpose vacuum furnaces offers a wide variety of sizes and configurations, including horizontal or vertical designs. As users have a choice of hot zones, pumping systems and gas cooling options, the MetalMaster™ is ideal for almost any heat treating, brazing or other thermal processing application. The gas quench system features a specially engineered heat exchanger and turbine blower designed to optimize gas flow for more efficient cooling. In addition to Ipsen's standard computer control systems, MetalMaster™ furnaces may be ordered with other high-productivity options, including specialized instrumentation, increased pumping capability, and material handling systems.
The Thermcraft Duracraft™ DC-1300 design incorporates helically wound heavy gauge conventional wire or Kanthal™ APM powdered-metal wire. The DC-1300 is typically used in all high temperature processes including silicon nitride and HTO LPCVD, oxidation, anneal, and drive-in. Ideal for horizontal furnace retrofits.
Among Inductotherm’s newest technologies is the Acutrak® Direct Electric Heat (DEH) Crucible Furnace. This unique aluminum melting and holding furnace uses an air-cooled, direct electric heating system that is more efficient, environmentally friendly, assures more accurate temperature control of molten metal, all while eliminating water cooling.
