Clean Turbine Blades and Engine Parts - Aluminum Oxide

Aluminum oxide from Composition Materials is a sharp-cutting, durable, and long-lasting grit used in surface preparation, grinding, blasting, and blast cleaning. It is manufactured in electric arc furnaces by a reduction fusion of superior-quality bauxites.

Aluminum oxide abrasives have high hardness and toughness for industrial applications, such as cleaning engine components and turbine blades. The fast-cutting action of the aluminum oxide works well on hard-to-remove debris on hard metal surfaces, as well as to engrave monument markers. In addition, it is frequently used as a non-slip/anti-skid aggregate in flooring applications.

Since 1923, Composition Materials has been supplying industries worldwide with abrasives. Also available is White Aluminum Oxide.
