Microscopes |SEM Raman Systems
SEM-Raman Systems use scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy to determine the nanoscale structure and chemical makeup of test samples.
With an SEM-Raman System, SEM is used to produce detailed images of a sample and investigate its structural makeup; and Raman spectroscopy is used to investigate chemical composition. This combination system can be used to investigate both metallic and non-metallic samples more rapidly than using two separate devices. Furthermore, the combination system allows for a more comprehensive analysis by integrating SEM data with Raman data.
Most systems allow for either SEM or Raman spectroscopy to be used as a stand-alone system.
