New Software For Advanced Core Analysis From Oxford Instruments

Oxford Instruments, the supplier of Magnetic Resonance solutions for core analysis laboratories in the oil and gas industries, with partner Green Imaging Technologies, will be showing new software for advanced core analysis at the SPWLA 2013 conference in New Orleans.

Green Imaging Technologies (GIT) have recently licensed 2-dimensional data mapping software from Schlumberger, which is particularly useful in applications such as fluid typing, quantification of organics, and pore connectivity. This software is now available on the GeoSpec2 range of instruments.

In addition, they will show the latest release version of the GIT Systems software, including practical examples of spatially-resolved T2 measurements, and the latest updates to capillary pressure measurements by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).

GeoSpec is the industry standard, with installations in every major oil producer and SCAL laboratory world-wide. Oxford Instruments’ partnership with Green Imaging Technologies guarantees complete hardware and software integration which makes it possible for core analysis laboratories to obtain comprehensive NMR core analysis results without the need for an in-house NMR expert.

Visit Oxford Instruments and Green Imaging Technologies at SPWLA 2013 (22nd – 26th June), to discuss your core analysis applications.
