RTP Company To Open New Chinse Manufacturing Plant

RTP Company has announced it will open a manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China during the fourth quarter of 2005. The new operation, located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, will offer a full array of thermoplastic manufacturing capabilities and serve a multitude of markets including electronics, automotive, and consumer goods. Dick Zhu will be the General Manager.

"The Suzhou facility is essential to the continuous growth of our Asian customer base. It will also enable us to better serve our global OEMs with the exceptional quality, innovation, and value that they have come to expect," stated Hugh Miller, RTP Company's President and CEO.

RTP Company began its Asian expansion efforts in 2002 when it opened a Singapore facility. The Suzhou location, like the other RTP Company facilities, will offer a full complement of customer support, including customer service, product development, and technical service, as well as state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities.

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, is a global leader in specialty compounding. The company has seven manufacturing plants on three continents, plus sales representatives throughout North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. RTP Company's engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, flame retardant, high temperature, shielding, structural, and wear resistant properties.
