Multichannel Analyzers

RSS
A multichannel analyzer is a valuable laboratory instrument which can assess distributions of input signals composed of electromagnetic pulses. It functions in two various modes: pulse height analyzer (PHA) mode, and multichannel scaler (MCS) mode. In PHA mode, the input pulses are grouped into channels based on their amplitude, while in MCS mode they are grouped based on the time when they arrived.

Most analyzers are highly-portable and capable of connecting to a computer, which can display results and print out hard copies. Some multichannel analyzers can be remotely controlled and automated using a computer.
