Teijin Fibers has declared that a new polyester fabric will be unveiled.
Three-layer structure of the new fabric
This new fabric provides fast drying, total comfort at the time of perspiration through better absorption, and prevents stickiness and chillness. It can be used as a sportswear during all seasons including the winter or fall season of 2013 and summer or spring season of 2014. It can also be worn as uniforms and casual wear.
The new polyester fabric specifically features a three-layer structure. An outer moisture-diffusion layer, a middle moisture-absorption layer and moisture-repellant polyester fibers in the form of a complete hydrophobic layer are incorporated in the fabric.
The middle layer absorbs sweat and the inner hydrophobic layer keeps the person warm by preventing moisture in the skin and also will not allow the new fabric to stick to the skin. Sweat is absorbed and diffused with the help of the three-layer structure’s capillary-type pump action in order to help quick drying.
A repelling agent has been integrated in the raw yarn through water-repellant fibers, which maintain high performance after washing repeatedly.
