The Skyview window will be available as a feature on Boeing’s BBJ and BBJ 2, as well as all three members of the BBJ MAX family aircraft.

Scheduled to enter service by 2018, Boeing’s new BBJ MAX 7 aircraft will also be equipped with the window.

Measuring 4.5ft in width and 1.5ft in height, the Skyview panoramic window features the size of three existing 737 windows together.

"Scheduled to enter service by 2018, Boeing’s new BBJ MAX 7 aircraft will also be equipped with the window."

The window can be placed behind the wing of an aircraft, with various potential locations based on the plane type.

GKN Aerospace's Fokker Services business president Peter Somers said: "The innovative technology applied in the largest window in the market, enhances passenger comfort and is now also available for BBJ MAX airplanes."

Available through GKN Aerospace's Fokker business as a retrofit on existing BBJ aircraft, delivery of the window for BBJ MAX planes is scheduled by 2018.

In addition, Boeing has projected in its 2016 Boeing Pilot & Technician Outlook for the Asia-Pacific region that more than 500,000 new pilots and technicians will be required to support the growing demand for new airplane deliveries over the next 20 years.

The new outlook has also forecasted that a total of 248,000 new commercial airline pilots and 268,000 new technicians will be needed through 2035.
