International Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials Conference Program Launches

The North American conference on powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials has launched its 2019 conference program for POWDERMET2019: International Conference on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials. The conference features over 200 technical presentations from worldwide industry experts presenting on PM, particulate materials, and metal additive manufacturing (AM) at the Sheraton Grand in Phoenix, Arizona, June 23–26, 2019. Registration is open at POWDERMET2019.org.

In addition to POWDERMET’s usual high-level technical programming, 100+ exhibitor trade show, and industry networking events, the new Metal Additive Manufacturing Tutorial will make its debut. This half-day tutorial is a must for consumers of metal AM components and organizations that are exploring the opportunities associated with developing their own metal AM manufacturing facilities.

Continuing features from last year’s conference include:

  • reduced conference rates;
  • full access to the co-located conference AMPM2019: Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy;
  • extended exhibit hall hours;
  • Grant TNT: Talk ‘N Technology sessions for students to present their work;
  • and the PM Evening Alehouse, a networking event held in the exhibit hall.

“POWDERMET conferences provide attendees with the opportunity to learn best practices, new solutions, and the latest R&D,” stated Blaine Stebick, MPIF Technical Board Chairman. “Powder metallurgy continues to be an innovative technology that inspires the next generation of engineers, especially with the rising influence and interest in metal additive manufacturing. The co-located conference Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy provides an optimal opportunity for design engineers, materials scientists, and end users to learn more about metal AM in conjunction with PM.”

Review the program and register now at POWDERMET2019.org.

POWDERMET2019 is sponsored by the Metal Powder Industries Federation and APMI International.
