Metrohm Launches IONIC Titrator

With the launch of the IONIC Titrator, Metrohm introduces a new generation of compact, stand-alone titrators that combines high-end performance with direct cloud connectivity. Designed for modern laboratories that value precision, flexibility, and ease of use, the IONIC Titrator delivers the power of a PC in a space-saving instrument – without the need for an external computer.

Compact Design, Powerful Performance

When space is limited but performance is critical, the IONIC Titrator is the right choice. The instrument features a large 10-inch touch display that offers a tablet-like user experience, enabling intuitive operation through swiping, zooming, and drag-and-drop. Thousands of determinations can be stored directly on the instrument, allowing laboratories to work independently of a PC while maintaining full control over data and methods.

The IONIC Titrator offers a modular approach. Users can connect up to four burets, add up to three measuring interfaces, and perform two titrations in parallel – either directly on the instrument or in combination with an autosampler.

With the IONIC Titrator, potentiometric and Karl Fischer titrations can be performed on one instrument. Laboratories can start with their current requirements and expand the system step by step as needs evolve – protecting investments while maximizing flexibility.

Outstanding Precision with the New Dosino Module

A central component of the IONIC Titrator is the new Dosino Module, which delivers a resolution of up to 250,000 pulses. This enables precise reagent addition and supports reproducible results across a wide range of applications.

Welcome to the Cloud

The IONIC Titrator is the first titrator with a built-in mobile communication module, enabling direct connection to the Metrohm Data Service, the cloud solution from Metrohm. Sample data and methods can be uploaded instantly to the cloud – without a computer – and accessed via a web browser at any time. Alternatively, LAN or WiFi connections are available.
