Avantes is happy to launch the next generation of AvaSpec-Mini spectrometers with CMOS detectors and sophisticated electronics and communications. Similar to the original AvaSpec-Mini, the CL series is merely the size of a deck of cards, yet it has excellent temperature and wavelength stability. The instrument is perfect for handheld applications, and users can easily take it anywhere they like.
CMOS Inside
The AvaSpec-Mini-CL series can either be fitted with the first on the market 4096-pixel array or a 2048 pixel CMOS detector. Users can enjoy the speed and improved native UV/NIR response of CMOS with excellent resolution to 0.1 nm which is not available anywhere else. The low stray light design enables less than 0.17% stray-light, and the fast response time has data transfer speeds as fast as 4.6 ms/ scan and integrations times ranging between 30 µs and 59 s.
The First of its Kind 4096 Pixel Mini
AvaSpec-Mini4096CL – the first on the market 4096 pixel CMOS array – is one of the most highly anticipated product releases of 2018.
