An Introduction to Deltech Furnaces Resistance Heating Systems

This article briefly describes how the key components of Deltech’s furnaces resistance heating system operate simultaneously.

The primary components comprise of the (i) heating elements and (ii) the control system including the control thermocouple and temperature controller, transformer, power control system including ammeter, current transformer, and SCR power controller, and overtemperature protection circuit including a limit thermocouple, limit controller and contactor (Figure 1).
