Battery Testing

Battery testers provide estimations on the state of a battery. Battery testing equipment evaluates batteries via two different methods. Impedance tests assess the total electrical path of the battery, from one terminal to the other. This test is designed to show weaknesses in individual battery cells and connectors between cells. It is often performed to determine a baseline value for a particular battery. A battery discharge test evaluates the real output of the entire battery under load conditions. Regular discharge testing helps to determine the health and the remaining life of the battery at a given point in time.
