A new three component epoxy resin system, EG-96 HP, has been launched by W. R. MEADOWS, a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high-quality building materials. EG-96 HP is a high-strength, 100% solids, VOC and BGE free, deep grouting material that is ideal for application in industrial projects, such as wind turbine and crane rail base grouting.
EG-96 HP – High Strength, Flowable Epoxy Grout
The EG-96 HP has been developed for deep grouting of large machine bases, sole plates and setting level wedges that require precision alignment under vibratory and dynamic load conditions. In addition, it provides support to vibrating equipment, chemical tanks and vessels and may be utilized as a vibratory dampening filler for rotating equipment. The product may also be utilized to install dowels and anchors.
The material offers excellent flow and rapid strength development characteristics. EG-96 HP provides excellent resistance to impact and vibratory loading equivalent to reinforced rubber materials and does not delaminate when exposed to more severe shock loads. The grouting solution flows into spaces found below machines and fills them entirely before hardening.
Other features of EG-96 HP epoxy grout in include excellent creep resistance, thermal stability during application, exceptional adhesion to concrete and steel, high degree of chemical resistance and cost-effective for large volume applications.
The product is available in gray to light grayish color. It is specifically designed for pours ranging from 1/2" (12.7 mm) to 8" (203.2 mm). Additionally, the product contributes to LEED qualifications, including Indoor Environmental Quality and Materials and Resources.
