Instron® Launches New Global Website

Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment designed to evaluate the mechanical properties of materials and components, is pleased to announce the launch of their new website for the UK, USA, China, and Korea.

The new website is completely dedicated to the user experience and includes the following new experience-enhancing features:

Simplified Navigation

The new layout ensures ease of usability by intelligently grouping together sections of the site; allowing visitors to benefit from a vastly reduced search time when seeking information.

Improved Literature Library

The enhanced library offers the most comprehensive collection of Instron’s brochures, white papers, and manuals to date. It also offers access to an alphabetical materials testing term glossary, information on common test types, and a variety of industry solutions for metals, plastics, composites, medical devices and biomaterials, and more.

New Press Room

The new Press Room provides the latest Instron news and developments, as well as access to the popular TechNotes, Accessories, Composites News, and Instron TERM newsletters. Visitors can sign up to upcoming webinars or masterclasses, or simply browse the Instron blog (offering more than 300 posts written by their industry experts).

GeoLocation

Using GeoLocation, the website experience is also intelligently tailored to each customer across the globe, with the site automatically ensuring that the correct local information and languages are displayed dependent on geographical location. Users in China will even automatically transfer from Google to Bing search in order to optimise local search functionality.

Best of all, the new design is also fully responsive, so visitors can enjoy the same ease of use whether they are on a desk top, tablet, or other mobile device.

Toby Kemp, Global Marketing Communications and Web Manager for Instron, says;

This has been such a great opportunity for us to enhance the experience for our users. Many of the changes we incorporated into the new site resulted from customer feedback and our investment in making their site journey positive and rewarding. We are still working towards the completion of our site, including the release of our content in 11 additional languages for our global customers.
