Rigaku to Feature Latest XRD and WDXRF Instruments at the 2015 Gulf Coast Conference

Rigaku Corporation is pleased to announce its attendance at the 2015 Gulf Coast Conference (GCC 2015) in Galveston, Texas, to be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 through Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

Rigaku will be exhibiting its benchtop lines of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) instrumentation at Booth # 434.

Among the instruments to be shown are the Rigaku Supermini200 benchtop WDXRF spectrometer, the Rigaku MiniFlex benchtop X-ray diffractometer, and the Rigaku Micro-Z ULS WDXRF sulfur analyzer. These powerful, transportable instruments deliver speed and sensitivity through innovative technology and design.

The Supermini200 is the only commercially available benchtop WDXRF spectrometer. It incorporates a number of advancements from the original Supermini, including newly designed and simplified software and an improved footprint.

Ideally suited for today's fast-paced XRD analyses, the fifth generation MiniFlex delivers speed and sensitivity through innovative technology enhancements such as the optional D/teX high speed detector coupled with a 600 W X-ray source.

The Micro-Z ULS sulfur analyzer is a benchtop WDXRF instrument designed for ultra-low level sulfur analysis of diesel and petrol (gasoline) fuels. It features a novel design enabling measurement of both the sulfur peak and the background intensity and meets ASTM 2622-10 and ISO 20884 specifications.
