IGAsorp Ultra delivers comprehensive water and organic vapor sorption performance, supported by a range of thermostat options including a 5 to 85 °C configuration for superior temperature control and programmability. The system’s Next Generation Vapor Sorption Module introduces dual vapor generators, external reservoirs for automatic generator refills and highly effective purging for seamless multi-vapor workflows.
"IGAsorp Ultra is the complete package in terms of performance and applications flexibility," said Paul Senior, Product Manager for the IGAsorp series. "Materials are becoming increasingly complex and diverse, and analytical instruments must keep pace. IGAsorp Ultra empowers users to perform complex experimental workflows without paying the price in terms of complicated setup or continual intervention. Effortless sample loading, easy method setup and completely automated operation ensure that users can focus on the insights their data provides."
The system also introduces real-time vapor concentration monitoring through an organics sensor and an absolute pressure sensor, which enable direct, traceable measurements of organic vapor partial pressures. This gives users confidence that programmed conditions are reliably achieved and held with exceptional stability throughout the experiment.
IGAsorp Ultra incorporates Hiden Isochema’s proven microbalance technology with an independent thermostat, delivering low drift and high mass resolution performance to ensure even subtle sorption events are captured with confidence.
"Development of IGAsorp Ultra continues our long history of pushing the boundaries in gravimetric sorption," said Matthew Gee, Engineering Director at Hiden Isochema. "The Innovative Next Generation Vapor Sorption Module represents a significant advancement in the engineering of DVS systems. We have purposefully developed it to maintain the premium IGAsorp performance whilst also being very easy to use. It has been a busy year, with us also introducing the new IGAsorp Core system for entry level DVS, and we are excited to see IGAsorp Ultra systems moving into customer sites soon."
With applications spanning pharmaceuticals, porous materials, polymers and other fields where moisture and organic vapor interactions are critical, IGAsorp Ultra is set to elevate how researchers approach their DVS experiments.
