The Autosampler Designed for Enhanced Use Throughput with Entegris AccuSizer and Nicomp Particle Size Analyzers

Entegris' AccuSizer AutoSampler (Figure 1) has been specifically developed for applications that require repetitive testing and higher throughput. The system can be used with all Nicomp and AccuSizer system configurations, which include Automatic Particle Sizer (APS), A7000 series AD (Autodilution), the Nicomp N3000 series Dynamic Light Scattering systems, and Syringe Injection Sampler (SIS).

The AccuSizer A5000 Series AutoSampler, also available from Entegris, is a standalone sampling device integrated with AD, SIS, and Metered Drain (MD) fluidics configurations. Entegris software packages control all of these systems and are specifically made to meet the needs of separate fluidics systems as well as other applications.

Developed using the similar modular design method as Entegris’ other products, the AccuSizer AutoSampler provides flexibility and complements the company’s capability modules to meet the specific requirements of customers’ applications. It can be configured with optional multipoint and single point stirring systems that can simultaneously stir all the samples. The system also includes an optional Peltier-controlled temperature rack to control the temperature of small samples while awaiting analysis.

The AccuSizer Autosampler’s typical configuration also includes the system and an option of two different sizes of rack with starter tubes.

All of the latest Entegris AccuSizer and Nicomp laboratory software packages come with software for controlling the Autosampler, enabling users to easily include an Autosampler to a current Entegris particle sizing installation. The software enables the system to operate with various measurement recipes for the samples of any single rack and consequently makes the system suitable for handling repetitive analysis of single sample when required (Figure 2).

Integrated AccuSizer and Nicomp software makes the system suitable for handling multiple samples.
