The ColorView 11, from Soft Imaging Systems GmbH, is a compact new digital microscope camera from Olympus. With a resolution of 3.34 million pixels, high sensitivity and precise colour reproduction, the instrument is suitable for all microscopic contrast techniques, including fluorescent microscopy.

Key features include a Peltier cooled CCD chip, the ability to capture up to 25 images per second and an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio.

The camera uses the latest Firewire technology to provide fast data transmission, and as a result it is one of the most powerful microscopic cameras in its class. In combination with the image analysis software analySIS, the camera is particularly suitable for the acquisition, archiving, analysis and transmission of images.
