Description

Iron disulfide is a cubic  chemical compound with the formula FeS2. It is usually found associated with other sulfides or oxides in metamorphic rock, sedimentary rock and quartz veins. It is dark gray to black in color, and also possesses a metallic luster and pungent odor.
