Gas Mixers for Biological Atmosphere Incubation

Environics® HMI-Based Computerized Gas Panel Mixing and Delivery System is capable of automatically blending gases in order to produce gaseous atmospheres for analytical research and diagnostic requirements. Other regular applications of this Medical Gas Equipment include pharmaceutical preparation, tissue culture, fermentation, and bacterial growth in the laboratory. Each component concentration may be separately varied in response to user commands.

The Series 3000 provides unmatched capability and performance, including:

  • Easy to use PLC and Color Touch Screen
  • Accuracy of +/- 1% and repeatability of +/- .05% of full scale
  • Flow rates from low SCCM to several hundred SLPM
  • A free software utility and Standard Ethernet connection allow users to remotely monitor and operate the instrument over an Ethernet connection
  • A wide range of options to allow a truly custom approach to user needs. Options include visual or audio alarms, oxygen compatible construction, and a gas humidifier. As a new feature, these alarms can now be emailed in order to keep users updated even when they are not onsite. This needs the IP address of the email server to have a static IP address.

Additionally, Environics’ gas mixers provide cost savings, by permitting users to replace many, expensive pre-mixed gas cylinders with fewer, cost-effective single-gas cylinders or bulk storage tanks. Environics customers have observed these savings, with one customer's cost savings analysis projecting the system paid for itself in the first year of use.

As with all Environics systems, the company takes pride in customizing its system for particular requirements based on individual users. It should be noted that each Series 3000 is customized for particular user requirements.

Common Gas Blends

Provided below is a small sampling of some more common gaseous atmospheres that can be produced with the Environics Series 3000. The system is flexible and can be effortlessly adjusted in order to allow users to easily produce multiple blends from the same gas cylinders. Options such as humidification are also available.
