Malvern Opens New Facilities in Germany

Malvern Instruments has opened an extended suite of offices, applications laboratories and associated customer support facilities at the headquarters of its German subsidiary in Herrenberg. These new developments will enable the company to accommodate an expanded Malvern team in Germany and to provide enhanced applications and technical support to its process and laboratory systems customers throughout the region.

With the acquisition of Bohlin Instruments in November 2003, Malvern added rheology systems to its product portfolio and is committed to investing in and developing its specialist teams around the world to provide the highest levels of service and support for these products. The addition of rheology capabilities, coupled with the continued success of Malvern’s particle characterization business in Germany, has been the catalyst for expansion of the facilities at Malvern Instruments GmbH.

Paul Walker, managing director of Malvern Instruments, commented: “Malvern has always been committed to providing high level customer service and support. We want to ensure that every user gets the maximum benefit from the investment they have made in our systems. We are especially proud of our record of working closely with customers on the development of solutions for their own applications and measurement challenges. As our business, product and technology range continues to grow, our investment in extending our customer support services is also growing, and the new facilities in Germany are a prime example of this.”
