Screening new cell chemistries using existing electrochemical methods is time-consuming and often slows down research. These procedures require cycling the cell until symptoms of deterioration or a decrease in adequate capacity are observed, which can take several months.
In operando, isothermal microcalorimetry is a well-established but underutilized technique for monitoring the activity of parasitic or non-reversible processes during charge cycling, providing insights that can accelerate battery research.
In this webinar, you will learn about the Battery Cycler Microcalorimeter solution, the latest innovation in whole-cell battery testing that streamlines previously complicated testing.
The new all-in-one software allows you to test a range of whole-cell battery types in a single system, reducing data-gathering errors and keeping all data in one location.
Join the webinar and learn:
- How BCMS simplifies lithium-ion battery testing by combining isothermal microcalorimetry and electrochemistry
- How in operando calorimetry provides unique insights
- BCMS's established and upcoming applications
