Hitachi’s electron microscopy applications lab in Daresbury is opening its doors to visitors virtually - thanks to the lab’s new online interactive tour. You can now take a step inside the facility and learn about the microscopes even if you’re not able to visit in person.
Hitachi High-Tech Europe established its applications lab at Sci-Tech Daresbury in 2018. Since then, it has served as a hub for collaboration with academia and industry. As well as undertaking sample runs and demonstrations, the lab also carries out research, method development, and testing to develop new microscopy-based solutions together with customers.
Inside the Hitachi Applications Laboratory
Using the virtual tour you can navigate your way around the lab and learn more about the instruments by clicking on the interactive buttons. This reveals details about the capabilities of each instrument, including descriptions, videos, and links to additional information.
The tour will be regularly updated as our instruments, development projects and customer requirements change over time.
