Selecting the right adhesive chemistry is only part of the engineering challenge. The packaging format and dispensing method determine whether that chemistry performs reliably in production. An adhesive with outstanding properties will underdeliver if the dispensing process introduces air entrapment, mix ratio errors, or inconsistent bond line thickness.
In high-reliability assembly settings, such as aerospace, medical devices, electronics, and optical systems, these are failure mechanisms rather than cosmetic issues. Master Bond offers specialized packaging for one- and two-component epoxies, silicones, urethane- and polysulfide-modified epoxies, and UV-curable systems, for automated production.
Syringe Packaging: Precision for Small-Volume and Automated Dispensing
Master Bond's syringe packaging is the format of choice for precise, small-volume dispensing in electronics assembly, optical bonding, and medical device manufacturing. Syringes are available in standard sizes of three, five, 10, and 30 cc for both one- and two-component systems. Syringes are compatible with manual dispensing and with pneumatic or electric automatic dispensers, enabling integration into high-tech benchtop assembly stations or automated production lines.

Premixed and Frozen Systems: Two-Part Performance, One-Part Handling
Many of Master Bond's most capable formulations are two-component systems. The premixed and frozen format delivers two-part chemistry with single-component simplicity. Master Bond thoroughly blends and degasses parts A and B, then freezes and packages the material in syringes or cartridges.
Stored at -40 °F (-40 °C), the shelf life is typically six months. To use, the operator thaws to room temperature and dispenses directly, with no mixing, weighing, or degassing required. These are one-time-use syringes, and once thawed from the freezer, each syringe must be used within its working life window.
Factory degassing eliminates the risk of bubble entrapment inherent in manual mixing, making this format especially valuable for optical bonding, underfill, and hermetic sealing. Premixed and frozen systems are available in one, five, 10, and 30 cc volumes.
Dual-Barrel Cartridges and Gun Applicators: High-Throughput Two-Component Dispensing
For production environments requiring rapid, consistent two-component dispensing, Master Bond offers double-barrel cartridges with manual or pneumatic gun applicators. When actuated, both cylinders are pressurized simultaneously, extruding components through a static mixing nozzle where they blend as they flow. A wide range of nozzles is available to match viscosity and mix ratio, ensuring consistent homogenization across production flow rates.

Ultraviolet Specialty Packaging for UV-Cure Systems
Master Bond's UV packaging uses light-blocking amber/black syringes, which are then sealed inside a black plastic outer pouch. This prevents premature photoinitiator activation from the factory to the point of application. UV specialty packaging is available in 1–30 cc sizes, supporting both manual and automated dispensing.

Specialty Packaging, Flexible Divider Pouches
Master Bond's FlexiPak® flexible divider pouch is a two-part adhesive, sealant, and coating. Pre-measured quantities of parts A and B are stored in a single flexible pouch separated by a removable divider. To mix, the operator removes the separator clip and kneads the two components together until uniform; the corner is then cut, and the material is applied directly.
