Temperature Sensors

When used for analytic or scientific purposes, temperature sensors should be precise and provide repeatable results. There are a number of different sensors that have both of these qualities and some include additional features, such as the ability to detect humidity. Furthermore, some devices incorporate temperature sensors to provide added functionality.

Infrared temperature sensors are a kind of sensor that use infrared light to detect thermal energy in a remote, non-invasive manner. Temperature monitoring systems allow for the remote monitoring of a temperature-controlled environment, such as a refrigerator or a laboratory oven.
