Pexco, a pioneer in the design and fabrication of custom extruded plastics products, has entered into an agreement to purchase AllWest Plastics.
This is Pexco’s third acquisition in the past four months. AllWest Plastics is a specialist in thermoplastic extrusions for the lighting and aerospace sectors.
AllWest Plastics was initially started as a manufacturer of extrusions for commercial lighting fixture components. Later, it began producing a wide range of high-performance extrusions for the aerospace industry. At present, AllWest Plastics is recognized as a well-known supplier of aerospace interior components for major aircraft brands, including Embraer, Bombardier, Airbus and Boeing. The company operates a manufacturing facility with eight production lines in Los Angeles, California.
CEO of Pexco, Neil Shillingford noted that the acquisition of AllWest Plastics will provide development opportunities for Pexco’s custom extrusion business. In addition, it helps to expand the company’s business to new geographies and market segments.
Recently, Pexco has acquired Multitube Medical Devices, a Mexico-based custom extruder for the medical industry and New York-based extruder for lawn and garden and fence applications, Patrician Products.
