Arkema has engaged Daire Chemicals and Resinex Italy in order to strengthen the supply network of the company’s Kynar product range for serving customers in Italy.
The collaboration between Resinex, a pan-European provider, and the Fluoropolymers division of Arkema has been successfully increasing the sales of Kynar PVDF in many European regions like Benelux, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia and in Eastern and Central Europe.
Daire Chemicals is supplying PVDF for a long time and has recently shifted its focus on Italy. This company has been chosen by Arkema, as it has an exceptional knowledge of PVDF technologies and markets in Italy and the high technical knowledge, particularly in high performance polymers like polyamides or PPS, PVDF.
Arkema’s new partnership with Daire and Resinex Italy will enable satisfy the requirements of Kynar customers through closeness to medium and small-sized industrial companies, especially in the pharmaceutical, chemical processing, chemical and food handling equipment industries. A periodic training is provided by Arkema in order to ensure that the sales force of its distributors can give technical support and high-quality service to all Kynar clients.
Kynar Flex and Kynar PVDF resins are highly performing fluoropolymer materials for use in industrial applications. These resins are specifically designed for extrusion processing and injection molding technologies and have excellent resistance to chemicals even at high temperature. Also, they are flame resistant and produce less smoke.
Kynar is mainly utilized in applications like rechargeable batteries, chemical handling devices, cables, photovoltaic panels, production of oil and gas, and pipe and fittings systems.
