Private Investors Acquire Serious Energy’s Vinyl Window Operations

Serious Energy, Inc. sold its vinyl window operations located in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. The operations were purchased by a group of private investors, which include SeriousWindow employees and Alpen High Performance Products. The new company will be known as Kensington High Performance Products.

Serious Energy continues to focus on its core products within its Interior Products and Windows Technologies Divisions. Within Interior Products, the company’s QuietRock line of acoustic drywall is leading the sound-damping drywall space with double-digit growth over prior year. Serious Energy also continues to develop its EcoRock technology. Within its Windows Technology group, the still young iWindow business is growing at an accelerated rate, garnering several prestigious projects in Q1 of 2013. Serious Energy also has several dynamic window technologies in development.
