Maney Publishing and IHS Partner to Expand and Accelerate Technical Professionals’ Access to Essential Engineering and Scientific Content

IHS (NYSE: IHS), the leading global source of information and analytics, and Maney Publishing, a leading independent publisher of academic and professional journals, today announced a new partnership. Under the agreement, IHS has the ability to resell hundreds of Maney titles in the Materials Science and Engineering subject areas.

Key Maney titles include: Bainite in Steels, Basic Corrosion Technology for Scientists and Engineers, Engineering Composite Materials, History of Metallurgy, Investment Casting, Metallurgical Modelling of Welding, Physical Metallurgy of Microalloyed Steels, Worked Examples in Quantitative Metallography and more than 60 authoritative publications as part of the European Federation of Corrosion series.

Maney books can be purchased, accessed and downloaded as part of the IHS Knowledge Collections. Designed to address engineers’ long-standing requirement for a single point of access to engineering-rich technical knowledge, IHS Knowledge Collections are pre-packaged compilations of cross-industry and multi-discipline content including patents, publications and journal articles, engineering eBooks and manuals, best practices and design methods, and premium technical website content.
