Chemically Resistant Epoxy System Master Bond EP62-1 Has a Long Pot Life

High temperature resistant two component epoxy system EP62-1 cures rapidly at moderately elevated temperatures. Working life after mixing a 100 gram batch is > 12 hours at 75°F. Typical cures schedules range from 4-6 hours at 60-70°C, 20-40 minutes at 80-100°C or 10 minutes at 125°C. EP62-1 has a very forgiving 100 to 10 mix ratio by weight and is easy to apply. Part A is clear and Part B is dark brown in color.

This product features resistance to acids, bases, solvents and other chemicals. It has a service operating temperature range of -60°F to +450°F. It also has a glass transition temperature of > 170°C. Electrical insulation properties are outstanding. Volume resistivity is > 1014 ohm cm.

Master Bond EP62-1 has high bond strength to similar and dissimilar substrates. Tensile strength is >8,500 psi and tensile modulus is 500,000-550,000 psi. Shore D hardness is > 80. Additionally, EP62-1 has superior dimensional stability.
