Oxea Expands its Oxsoft Line of Phthalate-Free Plasticizers

Oxea, a global manufacturer of oxo derivatives and oxo intermediates, has expanded its Oxsoft product portfolio of phthalate-free plasticizers with the addition of a new general purpose plasticizer, Oxsoft GPO.

The plasticizer has can be used in a wide range of industries, including food, construction and automotive. Customers are looking for substitutes to traditional phthalate plasticizers. The Oxsoft GPO is an ideal alternative for traditional general purpose plasticizers such as DINP and Ddop. With the use of Oxsoft GPO, Oxea’s clients can now deliver phthalate-free products without making any alterations in processes and formulations, thus eliminating the need for additional investment.

Sales and Marketing Executive, Miguel Mantas stated that Oxea is investing in innovative products and production capacity to support the growth of phthalate-free, non-VOC plasticizers. The company is currently expanding its existing production capacity to 60-70 kt/a and is also planning for further expansions.

Oxea’s SVP of Global Operations, Dr. Georg Dämbkes stated that the company will continue to focus on process optimizations for safe and effective production of high quality products.
