Specialty and fine chemicals distributor, Chempoint has been chosen by ITWC to distribute PolyS polyester polyol in North America exclusively.
According to the terms of the agreement, Chempoint will be responsible for marketing, technical support, sales and order delivery of PolyS polyester products across North America. Chempoint will contact customers to create awareness about the products and services offered by ITWC.
PolyS polyester polyols have low molecular weight and are made through the polyesterification process from excess diol. The polyesterification process enables hydroxyl groups to end polymer molecules. PolyS polyester polyols are used to formulate polyurethanes specifically for highly strong polyurethane elastomers. They have a wide range of uses for applications such as hotcast polyurethanes, adhesives, chemical processing, coatings and polyurethane foams.
According to Julia Pendergast, VP of Sales and Marketing at ITWC, Chempoint was the ideal choice as it adopted a customer oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets in marketing and sales and had a strong customer service set up to support a highly technical product.
