The Carver Auto Series Plus automatic laboratory presses are equipped with a substantial seven-inch color touch screen operator interface, improved control over platen temperature with automatic tuning, ramp-heating capabilities, a programmable bump sequence, and the ability to store up to 250 recipes along with 25 programmable segments for real-time monitoring of force and temperature for each recipe.
Optional features include automatic cooling and a seven-day timer for automated platen heat-up. (Note: Models with a 48-ton capacity come with a built-in wrap-around floor stand.)
Auto Series Plus press models are offered with clamping forces ranging from 15 to 48 tons and from 6” x 6” to 18” x 18” platens. These benchtop presses are used in quality assurance processes and in R&D for preparing test samples, conducting destructive testing, molding, laminating, and fluid extraction.
