RPC Superfos’ UniPak Packaging Chosen by French Food Producer

RPC Superfos, a manufacturer of sustainable injection molded plastic packaging for food and non-food products, announced that its UniPak packaging solution has been selected by Michel & Augustin, a France-based food producer, for its La vache à boire yogurt product line.

Michel & Augustin felt that the product did not suit the French market for its healthy drinking yogurt, which is sold in large 1 kg pots. The company required a pack that offers flexibility and colorful decoration capabilities, matching the food producer’s funny image. Christopher, Head of Communication at Michel & Augustin, stated that its customers need to find it attractive when they look at the packaging. He also added that a family-sized pot is environmentally friendly, cost-effective and allows enjoying and sharing their yogurt as a group.

Michel & Augustin has been looking for a packaging that needs to be unique, showy and funny and finally, it has chosen RPC Superfos’ Unipak plastic pot. The product offers a wide range of options to decorate with inmould- labeling.

UniPak has also been showcased at Michel & Augustin’s 2011 promotional campaign, which was targeted at holidaymakers. Michel & Augustin has sold T-shirts with its ‘La vache en pot’ brand name printed in a UniPak pot.
