Introducing the XSB Ashing Furnace

Thermcraft’s newest release, the XSB Ashing Furnace, is designed for complete combustion of test samples.

The XSB Ashing Furnace is Thermcraft’s latest solution for the combustion of test samples. With an 1100°C maximum operating temperature and a heated chamber volume of up to 40L, it provides ideal conditions for ashing petrochemicals, coal, food, plastics, and other hydrocarbons.

Lifetime Parts
The XSB boasts a uniquely low external temperature due to an air gap between the chamber exterior and actual furnace exterior. Inside you’ll find easily replaceable wound wire heating elements, but it’s not just the elements that can be swapped. All furnace parts come with lifetime availability, meaning your Thermcraft furnace will never become obsolete.

Safe to Use
Safety features include a vertical lift door that ensures the hot insulation stays facing away from the operator, and a protective switch that interrupts power to the elements when the door is opened. Many other features come standard, and upgrades like profile programming, communications and data acquisition for the SmartControl can be added before or after purchase.

Swift Delivery
As for all Thermcraft standard products, new lab furnaces arrive fully assembled and ready to for connection to your power supply. But what’s truly unique is that delivery happens in as little as two weeks of your order placement. The XSB conforms to multiple ASTM and ISO specifications and with a uniformity of ±2°C over 9 distinct data points, it’s one of the most accurate lab furnaces on the market.
