US Steel Bidding for Polish Steelmaker

US Steel have submitted an amended offer to the Polish Ministry of State Treasury, for the purchase of Polish Steelmaker, Polskie Huty Stali.

Terms of the offer were not disclosed.

US Steel submitted its original bid back on April 22 and has now progressed with two other organisations to the third round of bidding.

The Polish Ministry of Treasury is expected to make an announcement in approximately two weeks.
