Aker Kvaerner Win Three Process Control Contracts

One of award is with Hyundai Heavy Industries for design and supply of all inconel gas/glycol dehydration unit to to Adma Opco's Umm Shaif offshore field in the Emirates.

The second contract is with Maurel & Prom where Aker Kvaerner will deliver crude desalting facilities to Maurel & Prom's new crude production site in Gabon mid 2008.

The third contract has been awarded by BG Group. Aker Kvaerner will deliver two new glycol regeneration systems for their Miskar platform in Tunisia.

These contracts are undertaken by the Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Kvaerner Process Systems in France who is a leading supplier of gas dehydration systems with a well proven track record.

"The award of these contracts has proven our competitiveness within deliveries of oil and gas treatment packages. Our reputation as a dependable and experienced supplier of oil and gas treatment packages was one of the factors for being chosen", says Lionel Waintraub, managing director of Aker Kvaerner Process Systems in France.

Aker Kvaerner Process Systems offer glycol gas dehydration systems designed to meet high dew point depression requirements, and the water rich glycol stream can be regenerated to high glycol concentrations.

The units involved will be fabricated is Korea, Morocco and France. These contracts were booked as order intake in second quarter 2007.
