Medical Grade Polyphenylene Sulfide

Engineering plastics specialist Ticona has launched the Fortron polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) 9000 series, the first PPS line certified for medical and pharmaceutical applications, as well as for use in repeated food contact. The new line comprises two unreinforced and two reinforced grades. The former suitable for extruding tubing and profiles, the latter for injection moulding. All types offer low wear.
