Introduction
Aluminium / aluminum is a widely used engineering material and aluminium / aluminum alloys are in demand for use in packaging, transport, building and architecture, and electrical conductors.
Aluminium / aluminum 5554 alloy is a wrought non-heat treatable alloy type with improved corrosion resistance. This alloy was developed as a filler alloy especially for aluminium / aluminum 5454 alloy as this combination helps to prevent stress corrosion cracking at high temperatures of above 65°C (150°F). The following datasheet will provide more details about aluminium / aluminum 5554 alloy.
