Introduction

Aluminium / aluminum is becoming increasingly popular in several commercial sectors as it is a versatile metal that is ductile, seamless, attractive, recyclable, and cost effective.

Aluminium / aluminum 4925 alloy is a wrought alloy type with good ductility and mechanical strength. It was formed as a general purpose alloy. Due to its high silicon content, this alloy can be anodized, welded or painted. It is similar to aluminium / aluminum 3103 (Al Mn) alloy and is the equivalent of aluminium / aluminum 4015 – A alloy. Likewise, the corrosion resistance of aluminium / aluminum 4925 alloy is similar to aluminium / aluminum 3000 series alloys. This alloy is not recommended for use in harsh environments.

The following datasheet will provide more details about aluminium / aluminum 4925 alloy.
