Introduction

Aluminium/aluminum is an excellent alternate to steel for many applications. The Aluminum Association Inc. in North America directs the allocation and registration of aluminium / aluminum alloys. Currently there are more than 400 wrought aluminum and wrought aluminum alloys and more than 200 aluminum alloys in the form of castings and ingots registered with the Aluminum Association.

Aluminium/aluminum 3002 alloy is a non-heat treatable wrought alloy with manganese as the chief alloying element.

The following datasheet will provide more details about aluminium / aluminum 3002 alloy.
