AvaSpec-Pacto is the next-generation photonics backbone spectrometer that will enable a wide range of applications across several industries. The Pacto is built using Avantes’ most advanced automation techniques to achieve exceptional inter-instrument repeatability.
Compact Size, Limitless Possibilities
Avantes’ new Pacto spectrometer is a small, lightweight, and robust spectrometer intended for spectroscopy integration. With integration periods of up to 9 µs, stray light as low as 0.1%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 375:1, the Pacto provides high-speed performance.
The Pacto spectrometer is adaptable with Avantes light sources, accessories, and AvaSoft software, allowing users to tailor their configurations to their specific needs.
This powerful and versatile spectrometer has a USB2 connection. Other communication protocols, such as RS232/SPI, will be offered for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications. This device can be tailored to the specific requirements by using six various slit sizes and over 15 different types of gratings. Non-OEMs are required to have a replacement slit.
The Pacto is ideal for OEM applications and can be used in combination with the Software Development Kits (AvaSoft). Avantes can create big volumes of the Pacto spectrometer more quickly and efficiently, with very high accuracy and reproducibility, thanks to the automation of the manufacturing process.
Product Variations
Avantes introduces the Pacto Link and Pacto Bench Only, in addition to the USB-powered AvaSpec-Pacto. For OEM customers, the Pacto Link version includes a variety of connection protocols (RS232 or SPI). The Pacto Bench Only is designed to be easily implemented on the customer’s own electronic board or Avantes’ AS7010 electronic board.
