Up to 2,200 nm with Cooled InGaAs Detector: AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-HSC-EVO

Avantes provides a new range of cooled spectrometer configurations for measurements in the near-infrared range of up to 1.7 μm.

The AvaSpec-NIR512-1.7-HSC-EVO and the AvaSpec-NIR256-1.7-HSC-EVO provide the high sensitivity100-mm optical bench (HSC) with advanced electronics (EVO).

Both spectrometers have excellent performance specifications, like a high sample speed and fast integration times of just 20 μs, which are the hallmark of the Avantes instruments users have come to trust.

For applications where resolution is crucial, or more data points are needed for modeling, the 512-pixel detector offers the perfect choice.

The AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-HSC-EVO spectrometers combine the same reliable InGaAs array detectors with Avantes’ ultra-low-noise electronics board and feature a USB3 and Giga-Ethernet connection port. The spectrometers are fitted with a replaceable slit.

Analog and digital I/O ports allow control and external triggering across the pulsed and shutter light sources. Users can select from two individual software-controlled gain-setting modes—the low-noise mode (LN) and the high sensitivity mode (HS, default).

Cooling guarantees ideal noise conditions, even at extended integration times. All NIR-1.7 instruments come with a choice of four different gratings, which makes it feasible to select the bandwidth that suits users’ applications.
