Gioodrich Signs Log Term Actuator Deal with Emirates

Goodrich Corporation has signed a multi-million dollar component maintenance support contract with Emirates.

The contract will run for an initial period of seven years, covering the repair of all Goodrich Actuation Systems products fitted in Emirates' Airbus A330 and A340 fleet. The contract recognizes Goodrich Actuation Systems' commitment to customer care, service, operational excellence and product performance of its primary and secondary flight controls for these aircraft.

Eric Schulz, President, Goodrich Actuation Systems said, "Emirates is a world class airline which expects first class support. This agreement signals the confidence they have in Goodrich Actuation Systems products and services to deliver the right support."

Abdullah Osman, Emirates' Vice President Engineering Materials Management said, "Goodrich Actuation Systems has always been up against tough competition. Emirates recognizes that their OEM experience is backed up by effective service - these factors have given them the edge in component maintenance support."
